NEW Training Course – The Power of Storytelling for Those with Dementia
Posted on 07 Apr 2023
After over 12 years as a business working with storytelling and variety of clients, we felt it was time to put our experience to use and share some of it with others.
This spring, we are launching a brand new training course all about how storytelling in all its forms can be hugely beneficial for those living with dementia. Available for anyone to attend, it will be especially of interest to those living with dementia, their carers and those who come into contact with them on a daily basis, such as care staff. It challenges our views about what storytelling is as well as looking deep into what happens in our brain during our lifetime, and offers a variety of ideas around using storytelling to connect with friends and loved ones who are living with dementia.
The first one takes place on 20th April between 9am and 12midday at DVSC, Naylor Leyland Centre, 55 Well Street, Ruthin LL15 1AF and you can register via Eventbrite here or email Danielle at daniellebookofyou@gmail.com. The next will follow on 13th June at 9.30am if you can’t make this one.
