Daily Post Business Awards 2015
Posted on 30 Nov 2015
On Thursday night, Book of You attended the 2015 Daily Post Achievement Wales Business Awards at Bangor University. We’d been nominated for the Horizon Nuclear Power Community Award, alongside Wrexham Football Club and Vi-ability. This was interesting because we’d worked with Vi-ability around this time last year when we ran some sporting memory events. Our web designers, LiveTech, were also up for an award too in another category.
It was a very enjoyable night, and one of the few times we’ve managed to gather together some members of our team for something other than a quarterly meeting! The event was hosted by journalist, tv and radio presenter Nicholas Owen, and we’d all previously had a short film made about us which was shown at the start of our categories. Very embarrassing to see myself on such a large screen!
We have been a live business for less than a year and as such, did not expect to win, but it was fabulous to have been shortlisted and we offer our congratulations to the winner, Wrexham Football Club. We now look forward to expanding our business this year as we move forward with lots of new ideas and with our team of Associates who are currently in training. So watch this space!
